Katia George is a Carolina native who has found joy in movement for as long as she can remember. A recent graduate of Yale University, Katia is passionate about building a multifaceted career at the intersection of law, creativity, and cultural stewardship by protecting, producing, and curating the arts as both an attorney and a creative.

Katia’s movement practice spans a wide range of styles, from contemporary and heels to Afro-diasporic forms and modern theater. Though early in her professional journey, she has choreographed over 25 original works and contributed to the production of several campus shows, including for colored girls, West Side Story, and A Cura do Groove. This is her first summer on the island, and she is thrilled to be serving the vibrant community of Martha’s Vineyard.
