Our popular summer dance program is back for an “off season” session during the Island’s spring break!

We are thrilled to partner with dance teacher Claire Page, and the Martha's Vineyard Museum for this weeklong program. Kids Do Dance will challenge and delight children through fun, active dance classes that build skill and technique; nurture the child's choreographic voice and individual artistic expression through composition studies.

In a unique collaboration between The Yard and the Martha’s Vineyard Museum education teams, participants will explore the Island’s rich history, investigate exhibits, hear oral histories, and study artifacts to deepen understanding and inspire their own creative expression through dance. Activities include fun movement games, strengthening dance techniques, hands on arts & crafts, and generally exploring the wonders of the Museum. 

Kids Do Dance enables children to think creatively, move freely, and work collaboratively. Open to all levels of experience and ability.
